Why My Friends Are Afraid Of Computers
Most of my Wahey friends have computers and use them for work and at home but when it comes to actually enjoying what the computer has to offer by participating in on line events and forums, they remain skeptical and afraid. When we get together for whatever reason everyone has an opinion, but don't expect that opinion to be voiced on a news media comment page, facebook or twitter. A couple of them have actually joined facebook, but are strictly lurkers. This also may extend to those irresponsible types who go on line and make off color, stupid comments anonymously. Although I write articles here and on line, I always use my middle name, Stanley Ramon, which anyone can easily trace back to Keith Spain via a Google search. I always subscribe to on line media with my proper name and use Stanley Ramon as the sign-in name. There is nothing to fear as long as we take responsibility for our actions.
