Old Dogs
For those following our Nanook, Dave Dalton, he finished fourteenth at the Yukon Quest. Of the twenty four original mushers, only two ended up being unable finish, which may be a first. It was also the fastest race ever run. If you have a Facebook account you can see a stimulating video of Dave crossing the finish line. In the video, true to Dave's style, he gives credit to the dogs and talks fondly of retiring his old dogs Warthog and Ganges. I was thinking Dave's a pretty old dogs himself. This was Dave's 20th time running in the Quest. Only one other musher has run in it more at 24 times.
