Barroom Heroes
Have you heard about the investigation? Yes, there was an investigation into a band of hoodlums congregating at the infamous Basta Bar in Weymouth. Not to worry though, Officer Brian King of Weymouth’s finest is on the case.
Did he dust for prints? Ah, no.
Did he call for back up? Well, no.
Did he send in the drug sniffing dogs? Nope!
Hmm, did he ask what time these hoodlums were going to be there? Nah!
Did he ask if their parents would be there with them? Well, no he didn’t.
Wait a minute, how old were these guys? Nine.
Nine years old? Yep!
Hmm, so were these trouble makers drinking alcohol? No, actually they were going to sing.
Oh, you mean sing like squeal on other criminals? No, no, I mean they were going to sing, you know, songs and play instruments, like a rock band.
What?
I know, I don’t get it either.
He shut it down? Oh ya, he showed them whose boss.
Things must be slow at the Station.
Maybe the Weymouth Police are conducting a sweep of all the bars in Weymouth to make sure our children are going to bed early? Better not bring the kids to Denley’s for pizza tonight.
I hope these kids don’t plan on putting out a CD, they’ll really get in trouble.
