Paula's Village Unites

That's me on the left with my buddy Jon Cazeault. I think we're waiting for cake. I'm not sure but it might be the first time we partied together. I've gone to quite a few parties with him since then but I won't go into that. I still work with him in the roofing business almost every day, 50 years later. I've got much in common with my buddy, not the least of which is we got lucky and married great women, both named Paula. Jon's Paula is Paula Jackson. Stan and JonIf your from Weymouth then you may know her or one of her family members. They all went to Weymouth Schools, graduating from North High and Paula taught at the Nash School in Weymouth for many years. Not too long ago Jon had something removed from his throat and went through treatments for cancer. The good news is that he has recovered and is back working.

The reason I'm telling you this is because I'd like to invite you to another party that me and Jon are going to for his wife, Paula Jackson, who was also diagnosed with cancer. She has not been able to return to work but remains strong in her commitment to win her battle too.

The party is being held at the Weymouth Elks, 1197 Washington Street (Route 53), Weymouth, MA on February 5, 2010. Tickets will probably not be available at the door so contact Paula's sister Amy Jackson Green at 508.789.0480 or click here and send an e-mail.

Donations may also be made out to Paula's Village Unites, 138 Country Club Way, Kingston, MA 02364.

Keith, I was just on the phone with Paula crying reading this to her. You are so kind to be helping both Paula and Jon. I love the picture of you and Jon. How nice that the 2 of you are still pals after all these years. Looking forward to a fun night for a great cause on the 5th.
