Average White Guy
Have you ever gone looking for a job at a company that advertises themselves as being an Equal Opportunity Employer? Is there an organization out there that actually checks this and enforces it? Where are these guys and what's their number? The number I keep calling suddenly disconnects when I try to tell them that I'm a 50 something, unemployed, white construction worker who is being discriminated against because of my AGE. At least that's what I'm thinking. I don't really know. Maybe it's the "white" adjective that's the problem. Or the "guy" part (no pun intended). My doctor wouldn't give me a referral when I told him that I wanted to put on a few pounds and get a sex change so I could get a job driving a trolley. I also have a call into Obama because I figure there should be at least one white guy on the list to replace David Souter. I haven't heard back. Whatever! Gotta run across the street to see if I can help the Brazillian guys mowing my neighbors lawn.

my daughter's class was discussing affirmative action in a policy class @northeastern u. she has a student from Belfast ,Ireland in the program. he told the class that he was disgusted with affirmative action because only the catholics are getting the good municipal jobs in northern ireland these days!! go figure!
